Alpha Media has a deal for beer drinkers this summer - meet Alpha Pub and Growler 2015

Alpha Media, a company I have mixed feelings about usually (they own 98.7 "The Bull" and Kink 103 but also killed off KUFO) has created a promotion that the Fat Boy's can get behind: The Alpha Pub and Growler Card.

The card sells for $60 and gets your growler filled at eight local bars and brew pubs, including Bridgeport, Kells NW, and HUB among others. You can find more information on their website here, but this one is a no brainer folks.

Kickstarted: EVAK Food Storage Container

In November of 2013 a design firm in New York called Pollen Designs launched a project on Kickstarter.com for a new type of storage container they called EVAK, which was designed to remove air from the container while the lid was put in place, creating a vacuum seal and helping to keep dry goods fresh longer.
